October Professional Meeting

The University of Akron ASCE Student Chapter will host the October Professional Meeting from 4:45 - 6:00 PM over Zoom. One PDH will be offered, and the keynote speaker will be Dr. Stephen Duirk.
Speaker(s)
Dr. Duirk obtained his BS in Civil Engineering from Ohio University in 1996, his MSCE from the University of Akron in 1999, and his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2003. He then went to work for the U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development prior to coming to UA in 2009. After leaving UA, his work has focused on developing beneficial use facilities and creating engineered value-added products from waste materials.
