Senate passes S. 1813, "Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century" (MAP-21) in an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote of 74-22. Approval of MAP-21 by the Senate is an important first step in the process of getting a multi-year reauthorization of federal highway and transit programs to the President.
