Also, the Section will be collecting monetary donations in partnership with the Radisson Harrisburg Hotel to benefit Susquehanna Service Dogs. All dollars collected by the Section will be matched by the Radisson!
Project Overview of the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island
The Section welcomes Mr. Alex Baldowski of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District. Mr. Baldowski will present a project overview of the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island. This presentation will explain what Poplar Island is, how it has become a model of innovative reuse of dredged material, and how multi-disciplinary teams from the public, private, and academic sectors work together to create a successful project.
