“Repairing or Replacing Railroad Bridges Between Trains”
The Section welcomes Mr. Hunter and Mr. Conrad as they discuss the bridge replacement project on the Lycoming Valley Railroad’s over Loyalsock Creek in Montoursville, Lycoming County. The original, 85-year-old structure was damaged by Tropical Storm Lee in September 2011 necessitating its replacement including the necessary trackwork to get the line reopened to the North Shore’s many customers.
