Networking Event with Seattle and San Bernardino YMF sections.  RSVP to Evan Tremaine.

Good evening and happy new year Inland Empire YMF:

I hope all of your New Year’s celebrations and shenanigans were a smashing success and that 2021 brings an end to these solely digital hangouts.  That being said, the Seattle and San Bernardino YMFs is working to plan another joint happy hour/networking event for the middle of February (see the email below).  I will continue to update everyone as the details become locked in.

If you are interested in attending the event, please RSVP to me and I will limit final details to those who have expressed interest in joining.  These events are generally scheduled for 2 hours in length but tend to go upwards of 4 hours.  You are free to join and leave as your schedule allows.  The past two events have been fun and these are good opportunities to connect with engineers around the country.

Hey, I just wanted to reach out to you'll about doing another joint networking event on February 18th. Seattle has been planning on doing an event with the San Bernardino YMF and is trying to get some more Cali folk to join. I have reached out to Tacoma/Olympia, Portland, and Willamette about joining and figured that I would reach out to the various YMF groups to see if everyone would be down to clown. 

 Tyler (one of my roommates) had a happy hour event where they would try to do a pub crawl in the zoom, where the various break-out rooms would be a bar and people could freely move around. They also had a secret bar where you would need to solve a riddle to join the meeting. And that is what my idea for this event would be. Let me know what you think and if you would want to be a part of the fun. 

 If you guys could reach to more folks, it would be cool to do a west coast networking event. I think the beauty of the event is the work is minimal and can mostly be done before the event starts.
