Committee on Younger Members Vacancy

The new CYM Member position on the Committee on Younger Members (CYM) will become vacant on September 30, 2006. This will be the 1st position to be filled under the new Governance model. Our bylaws state that a minimum of 4 Regions must be represented; there are currently 2 Members from Region 5, so nominees from Region 5 will not be considered. The position is a 4-year term beginning October 1, 2006. CYM will be reviewing applications and recommending the candidate to fill this position at our Spring meeting in May. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Council of Vice Presidents for final approval.

Nominations for Corresponding Members (CM) in all Zones will also be considered. Corresponding Members serve for 1-year terms with no term limits. CMs are critical to CYM operation, so please consider submitting an application. Since the CYM meeting is only a couple of months away, we urge you to begin considering candidates immediately. All nominations must be received no later than May 1, 2006.
