The biggest hurdle that most civil engineers and technical professionals face in their quest to become successful managers is a lack of confidence. As an engineering manager, you’ll need to build your expertise, present in front of stakeholders, and lead by example. In this session, you’ll be given specific actions that you can take daily to build your confidence, develop your public speaking skills, and learn high leverage leadership tactics. These strategies will help you build authority in your field, improve your confidence and effectiveness as an author and presenter, and maximize your relationships with the people you work with.

The purpose of this session is to provide a framework for building your confidence, growing your expertise and engaging people in order to be a true civil engineering leader.
