The Mohawk-Hudson Section of The American Society of Civil Engineers was established in 1938.
In 1976 the Mid-Hudson Branch was established.
The Section serves ASCE members and their communities within twenty three New York State Counties.
The Mohawk-Hudson Section of ASCE Objectives:
· Enhances the image of Civil Engineers through community service events and publicity
· Improves communication with members through enhancements in our newsletter and website
· Increases opportunities for continuing education through field trips and speakers

The pie chart shows the November 2007 locations of our members (1212 members). The largest slice of the pie/percentage of our members are in locations with less than 10 other members. But this is made up of almost 500 members. Larger groupings occur in Albany, West Point and Troy with each having over 100 members.
