The Section serves ASCE members and their communities within twenty three New York State Counties.

· Enhances the image of Civil Engineers through community service events and publicity

· Improves communication with members through enhancements in our newsletter and website

· Increases opportunities for continuing education through field trips and speakers

How to become a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers

The pie chart shows the November 2007 locations of our members (1212 members).  The largest slice of the pie/percentage of our members are in locations with less than 10 other members.  But this is made up of almost 500 members.  Larger groupings occur in Albany, West Point and Troy with each having over 100 members.

Check back soon as we further define our membership and strive to serve our members better by understanding this demographic.
