Hands-On Engineering Focus of "Design Squad" Outreach
ASCE held the record for the most member volunteers in attendance at PBS affiliate WGBH's "Design Squad" Training Summit, held Nov. 9 at the National Academy of Engineering in Washington, D.C. The full-day event included an overview of the show's development process, outreach guidelines, training resources and event planning opportunities. ASCE will kick off its promotion of the program by hosting "Design Squad" events during the upcoming ASCE Leadership Conferences.
Visit the "Design Squad" website at http://pbskids.org/designsquad/ for more information.
