HEARST TOWER

Currently under construction at 214 N. Tryon St., Charlotte, the Hearst Tower will be the second tallest building in North Carolina at 658 feet and 48 floors. Construction is expected to be completed in 2001 at a final cost of $160 million. The Hearst Publishing Corporation and the Bank of America will be the primary tenants in the building, with space also designated for retail in the first floor.
