NORTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH

The domed sanctuary of the Northside Baptist Church is visible from I-85 just east of uptown Charlotte at 333 Jeremiah Blvd.. Mr. P.W. Runyan was the project architect, structural engineering was provided by Engineering Consultants and Godley Construction was the general contractor. The church's bearing walls and columns are supported on a shallow concrete foundation system. The domed roof structure was constructed of laminated wood beams.
