2014 Nevada Infrastructure Report Card

The ASCE Nevada Section completed the 2014 Nevada Infrastructure Report Card on November 17th and are excited to share it with you. The intent of developing the Nevada State Infrastructure Report Card is for ASCE to support infrastructure issues and funding.  We will hold several release events to let the public know about the Report Card.  Then we will meet with newly elected and incumbent state legislators to inform them of the issues associated with public infrastructure.  Our efforts will culminate in a Legislative Fly-in in February 2015 where we will visit the State Assembly and Senate in Carson City to further reinforce our support of public infrastructure and to provide meaningful data to our legislators.

The Nevada Report Card consists of “Grades” for 8 sectors of infrastructure with supporting write-ups for each sector. The Report Card provides a synopsis of the current and future state of affairs with our public infrastructure.  Our hope is that our report card helps create more public awareness about the infrastructure and public facilities that we all rely on every day.
