Welcome to the New Mexico Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers!

September 16, 2014

Dear ASCE Members,

I look forward to serving as ASCE New Mexico Section President for the term from September 2014 to September 2015. I have been an ASCE member since 1978, when I reluctantly joined up as a student member at the University of Colorado. At that time I felt, I suppose like many brash youth, that any society that offered membership to someone like me was not good enough for me. Since then, as I have matured, I have grown to appreciate the opportunities that ASCE brings to the life and career of a civil engineer. see the complete message

Sincerely,
Walter Gerstle
