Lehigh Valley Section presents - A Tale of Two Streams: Delivering a Phased Approach to Flood Mitigation (1 PDH)
Bloomsburg, located at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and Fishing Creek, has a long history of catastrophic flooding. Record flooding, resulting from Tropical Storm Lee in September 2011, set into motion a phased approach to mitigate future flooding. Multiple funding sources and creative design practices made Bloomsburg’s vision a reality. Please join us at one of the Lehigh Valley’s newest breweries to enjoy local libations and cuisine while learning of Bloomsburg’s successes.
