SPEAKER: Larry Wolf, Bureau of Reclamation. 

TOPIC:   Rehabilitation of the Lake Lowell Dam

 

Larry Wolf is the Safety of Dams Program Manager for the Pacific Northwest Region, Bureau of Reclamation.  He has a broad range of experience in civil engineering, particularly in geotechnical engineering, dam design and dam safety issues.  Dam rehabilitation projects that Mr. Wolf has worked on in the northwest included Deer Flat, Reservoir A and Deadwood Dams in Idaho; Como Dam in Montana; Grassy Lake Dam in Wyoming; Ochoco, Wasco, Fish Lake, Cold Springs, McKay and Wickiup Dams in Oregon; and Salmon Lake, Bumping Lake and Keechelus Dams in Washington, all under Reclamation’s Safety of Dams Program.  Mr. Wolf has also worked on dams for other government agencies, including Kirby Dam on the middle fork of the Boise River.
