The St. Louis Chapter of the Structural Engineering Institute is an organization within the ASCE - St. Louis Section dedicated to advancing and serving the local structural engineering community.
ASCE/SEI 7-10 Wind Loads Webinar - The St. Louis Chapter will be providing a presentation on the revised wind provisions of ASCE/SEI 7-10.
ASCE/SEI 41-13 Seminar - The update to the ASCE 31 & 41 seismic standard will be discussed by a voting member of the committee. The presentation will include a summary of significant updates to the overall organizational format of ASCE 41-13, three tier provisions and checklists, seismic hazards and performance objectives, general provisions, and material chapters.
SEI - St. Louis Chapter Scholarship - The St. Louis Chapter of SEI is proud to announce it will be awarding a scholarship to a graduate student in structural engineering. The scholarship rules and an application can be found at the following link. Please contact Randy Bernhardt for more information.
The St. Louis Chapter typically meets on the 3rd Thursday of the
month at 7:45 AM. The meetings are currently held over conference call at 1-605-475-4350 with the access code is 5056289. All interested parties are welcome.
