NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The Nominating Committee consists of three elected members and the current President and immediate Past-Presidents. The Past-President shall be the Board Contact Member.

The Nominating Committee shall submit to the President a written report approved by all members of the committee, containing at least one nominee for each of the offices of President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer, two for Director and six for Nominating Committee. The nominees shall be subscribing members and may be of any grade in the Society membership.

The nominees must consent to the nomination and a list of the nominees shall be communicated to the entire subscribing membership in the notice of the March meeting. This must be ready two weeks before the March meeting to make the newsletter deadline. Additional nominations for any office may be submitted from the floor at the March meeting. Nominations may be made by petition and shall be furnished to the Secretary by April 1.

The nominees shall be voted upon by a letter of ballot mailed to the subscribing members of the Section and postmarked no later than April 15. Members shall have until the May meeting to mail ballots to the Nominating Committee which shall serve as a ballot counting committee. The Nominating Committee is responsible for having the ballot printed in time for insertion into the April newsletter. Arrangements for the printing and insertion shall be made with the Section's official printer of the newsletter. Ballots are to be returned to the Secretary.
