VT ASCE Annual Meeting
Our annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 9. 2018 in Burlington. We are pleased to announce that 2018 ASCE National President Elect, Robin Kemper, will be attending. A tour and presentation of the UVM Miller Building, which is currently under construction by Whiting-Turner. The tour will be offered to view current progress of the 180,000 SF, seven-story inpatient building located at the west side of the UVM Medical Center campus. A walking tour of the active jobsite will provide an overview of the site, general building structure, exterior envelope and a review of the 128 single occupancy medical-surgical rooms. This $115m project broke ground in May 2016 and is scheduled to be open for patients in Summer of 2019.
A social hour, dinner, awards and inductions will be held in downtown Burlington after the tour
