Presenter: Mike Toole, PhD, PE
Speaker: Dr. Mike Toole served as the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Toledo from 2017 until March 2024. Previously, he was a Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering and held leadership positions at Bucknell University. His industry experience includes the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, a national homebuilder, and a multidisciplinary engineering firm. Mike received his B.S. from Bucknell University and his Masters and Ph.D. from M.I.T. A Fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers, he was awarded the 2024 Engineer of the Year by the Toledo Regional Society for Professional Engineers. His recent professional service includes Board memberships on the American Society for Engineering Education Engineering Deans Council, the Northwest Ohio/Southwestern Michigan Better Business Bureau, and the Toledo Regional Society of Professional Engineers.
