Tuesday, November 15, 2022 - 13:30 PM - Tuesday, November 15, 2022 - 15:00 PM

On Tuesday November 15, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 2022 Report Card for Pennsylvania Infrastructure will be released. We are planning the primary release event to be held at the Keystone Building (400 North St, Harrisburg, PA 17120). ASCE Central PA would be honored to have ASCE Central PA Members attend this event.

The four Sections of ASCE in Pennsylvania (Central Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh) have developed and released the Report Card every four years since 2006. Together the four ASCE Sections in Pennsylvania represent nearly 6,000 members of the civil engineering profession. Using a simple A to F school report card format, the 2022 Report Card will provide a comprehensive assessment of current infrastructure conditions and needs, assign grades, and make recommendations for how to raise the grades. The Report Card is written by ASCE members in Pennsylvania who assign the grades according to the following seven criteria: capacity, condition, funding, future need, operation and maintenance, public safety, and resilience.

Type of Event: Press Release/Conference, approximately 45 minutes with Q&A session at the end
