Mid-Atlantic West Student Symposium - Volunteers Needed

Thursday, April 13, 2023 - 17:00 PM

The Penn State Harrisburg and York College of PA ASCE Student Chapters are preparing to host the 2023 ASCE Mid Atlantic West Student Symposium. Around 200 students from around the Pittsburgh, Central Pennsylvania, and District of Columbia areas will come together to put their engineering skills to the test and showcase their school spirit. The symposium provides a way for students to take part in engineering competitions, have fun, connect with other students, and grow professionally. Additionally, it is a great way for students to meet professionals in the field and encounter companies that they may work for in the future. All in all, it is an exciting event that civil engineering students, faculty, and professionals look forward to.

An ASCE Student Symposium is undoubtedly one of the largest events of the year for ASCE Student Chapters. Hosting the Student Symposium would be difficult without the support of volunteers in the region as we look to support the next generation of civil engineers.

The host schools are looking for event volunteers and judges with knowledge of the competition they are interested in. Learn more about these Competitions by visiting this site.
