David Swanson is the Assistant City Engineer for the City of Centerville. In his role, which he has held since 2021, David works primarily with transportation, stormwater and project management. David spent the previous six years of his career working in water and wastewater for Montgomery County Environmental Services. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and currently lives in Downtown Dayton with his family. He became involved with ASCE to promote civil engineers across the region.

Eric Damian joined the City of Franklin as their City Engineer in June of 2025. Previously, Eric worked for Goodhue Consulting, Woolpert, and CESO Inc. specializing in the design of roadways and pedestrian facilities, particularly those in municipal and urban environments. He is a graduate of Ohio State University, and currently lives in Miamisburg with his wife and two boys.

Max Paton is a Civil Group Manager at KBJW where he provides team leadership and management for the Civil Engineering Group. Previously Max has worked at Woolpert & LJB and spent about 7 years working for various consultants in the Columbus Area. Max has experience in single family, multi-family, and commercial site design. He has worked extensively in utility design, site grading and stormwater management. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and currently lives in Springboro with his wife Stephanie, daughter Violet, and their dog Rosie. Max joined ASCE to become more involved in the local civil engineering community and to get more exposure to public infrastructure projects.

Todd Hanahan is a Senior Project Manager at CESO where he leads a group of professionals in the design of infrastructure improvement projects for municipal and private clients. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Todd has a passion for helping successfully deliver infrastructure improvements in the communities around where he lives and works. In his free time, Todd enjoys traveling with his wife, helping with his kid's activities, and working outdoors.

Ziad Mazboudi, PE, is a licensed civil engineer in both California and Ohio with extensive experience in municipal infrastructure, emergency response, land development and transportation. He currently serves as a Public Works Director/City Engineer at Transtech Engineers, where he leads multidisciplinary projects with a focus on capital improvement projects, major infrastructure projects, public works operations and sustainable developments. His leadership includes serving as Past President of the ASCE Orange County Branch and Chair of the ASCE Region 9 Disaster Preparedness Committee.
Ziad holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Diplomate in Water Resources Engineering, a Fellow of ASCE, LEED AP, a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ) and Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, ping pong, traveling with his family, and photographing civil engineering accomplishments around the world.

Chris Kuzma graduated from the University of Toledo in 2016 with a Bachelor in Science in Civil Engineering. He worked previously with CESO Inc. before moving to South Carolina, with his family to work as a Project Design Coordinator for Seamon Whiteside & Associates. In 2020, a newborn son and a worldwide pandemic brought the Kuzma family back to southwest Ohio where Chris is currently the City Staff Engineer for the City of Oakwood. Chris' experience includes: Site and drainage design, stormwater modeling, and water system modeling. Alongside his engineering experience, Chris brings a love for mentoring and teaching and is excited to bring these passions to his role as the Young Member Group Chair.

Brant Gressel graduated from the University of Iowa in 2017 and is currently the Deputy Engineer for the Greene County Engineer's Office. Prior to joining Greene County he served as a civil engineer and project manager at LJB Inc. Brant has experience in highway design, roadway safety, storm sewer/culvert design and utility coordination. He lives in Beavercreek and enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and watching football in his free time.

Ryan Chalfant, P.E., is a Talent Acquisition Partner working with Miller Valentine Construction. Ryan graduated from the University of Cincinnati with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Business Administration. After graduation he worked at CESO Inc. where he focused on roadway and drainage design. Outside of his technical experiences, he is heavily involved with outreach to local universities to help invest in students and their understanding of being an engineer.

Alisha Burcham, P.E., is the Facilities Asset Management Planning Engineer for the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Alisha graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. She was previously the City Engineer for the City of Moraine, Staff Engineer for the City of Centerville, and also worked as a design engineer for 2LMN. Alisha is responsible for all long range strategic planning for facilities for WPAFB and has significant experience in project management, roadway design, drainage, and grant acquisition.

Ms. Ermis is an Estimator/Project Administrator for Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. in Franklin, Ohio. Danielle graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio. She has worked primarily in the Heavy/Highway Construction industry, with estimating and project management experience for projects throughout Southwest Ohio. She works closely with local municipal/government agencies, as well as the Ohio Department of Transportation to successfully complete roadway projects ranging from asphalt resurfacing to full reconstruction. In addition, she has been involved in both management and quality control roles for multiple projects at the Dayton International Airport over the past ten years.
