Eagle Creek Dam Design
The ASCE Cincinnati Section will be hosting an in-person presentation on the Eagle Creek Dam design project in Findlay, Ohio.
This presentation will provide background for the Flood Risk Reduction Program with a more in-depth discussion on the completed design which includes detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, multiple supporting field studies, geotechnical exploration, mussel reconnaissance surveys, wetland and waterbody delineation, and a threatened and endangered species habitat assessment. The team also completed structural design of the spillway structures and geotechnical design of the embankment.
The presentation will be by Danielle Bolubasz, a Water Resources Engineer at Stantec, and David Orth, a Water Resources Engineer in Training at Stantec.
