Waters of the US in Planned Development Projects
George Hummeldorf’s talk, titled “Waters of the US in Planned Development Projects” will discuss what are considered Waters of the US (WOTUS), how WOTUS are determined and delineated, and the need for permitting WOTUS in planned development projects. WOTUS project examples will be presented along with impacts to planned property development. The presentation will show how WOTUS assessments can aid in site due diligence, site characterization, and can locate high risk areas on a project site.
