September 2024 Luncheon
Please join us for our Annual meeting and Luncheon. We will vote for board members and have a presentation.
The presentation will be about the impact of rainfall-derived inflow and infiltration on urban hydrology.
ASCE Duluth Section will issue a PDH certificate to members in good standing. It is the responsibility of the individual to determine whether or not the presentation is applicable to his/her career.
Speaker is Dr. Zhang
Bio: Dr. Kun Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He obtained his Ph.D. from The University of Hong Kong in Civil Engineering in 2020 and received research training at Marquette University. His research focused on urban hydrologic modeling and watershed management, with an emphasis on studying the hydrologic impacts of climate and urbanization stressors and exploring solutions to increase the resilience of urban water infrastructure.
