Kelly Hefner, PE will be conducting a presentation relating to soils which will cover various soil types and the application of those soils as backfill embedment. In addition, this presentation will help attendees understand and demystify soil type terminology relative to ASTM D2313, ASTM D2487 and AASHTO M145. At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees should have a relative understanding of soil abbreviations and from what they are derived, have the capability to read and understand a soils report.
