Engineers Day on the Hill
The House of Representatives and Senate have named April 10. 2024 South Carolina Engineers Day.
We have invited the House and Senate to drop by to meet the Engineers. We will network from 8:30-9:00 before having a representative of each of the engineering groups speak shortly before we go to the House of Representatives Balcony to be recognized. Following our introduction we can call out members’ House members to discuss bills we are working on.
The Senate is in perfunctory session as they will be working on the budget, so we may meet with key Senators to ask them to approve SCDOT and SC Department of Environmental Services’ budget request. Please invite your House members and Senator to come see us. Click here to find your legislators.
Join ACEC-SC and other engineering groups on April 10, 2024 at 8:30 AM in room 321 of the Blatt Building for Engineers Day on the Hill. The Blatt building is on the south side of the South Carolina Statehouse. We have reserved the room 321 from 8:30 -11:30.
