Hunter Whitfield, MBA, PE
Hunter serves as the Columbia Office Leader and Civil Engineering Team Leader for SW+, guiding the growth of the firm’s newest office, established in 2025. He brings eight years of experience in site development and utility infrastructure projects, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments as well as water and sewer extensions that support industrial parks and master-planned communities. With a strong background in industrial and economic development, Hunter is particularly passionate about projects that help rural areas attract new employers, create jobs, and expand opportunities for growth. He leads teams through all phases of design and permitting, with a focus on delivering practical, high-quality solutions that align with client and community goals.
