TOPIC: Magnolia Landing Project 

Mary Beth Cline of S&ME and Matt Laney of Reveer Group will discuss the Magnolia Landing Project. The redevelopment is located on the Ashley River and includes up to 4,080 multifamily housing units, 1.2 million square feet of commercial space, 1,040 hotel rooms, and 25 acres of public park space. Mary Beth will speak about the environmental concerns from historical uses of the property, and Matt will speak about the civil engineering challenges on the property.

Mary Beth Cline, P.E. is an Environmental Engineer with S&ME in the Charleston, SC office. She manages S&ME’s environmental assessment, cultural resources, and natural resources operations. Originally from the Upstate, Mary Beth has called Charleston home for the past 15 years. She has a degree in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University.  Mary Beth has been working on the Magnolia project since 2012.

Matt Laney, P.E. is a Civil Engineer with Reveer Group in Charleston, SC. He manages the team of civil engineers for the Magnolia Landing project. Matt moved to Charleston in 2017 and began working on the Magnolia project in 2018. He has a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His experience includes design, construction, and project management services on a wide variety of projects.
