Midlands Branch/USC Student Chapter - Order of the Engineer Ceremony
After being inactive for nearly two decades, the Order of the Engineer (OOTE) USC Chapter as been reinitiated! Many graduates did not have the opportunity to be inducted during their time as students but now have the opportunity during this semester's ceremony.
The Order of the Engineer is a prestigious ceremony at which seniors/graduates pledge themselves to the upmost standards as an Engineering Professional. The ceremony focuses on the presentation of a stainless-steel ring placed on the fifth finger of the dominant hand, symbolizing the engineer's dedication and pride in his or her profession.
$10 ring payment required. Cash and Venmo (@trotterdotter) are both accepted.
Registration and Payment are due by March 13th. You will receive an additional email after this time with final ceremonial details.
The Ceremony will be held on April 10th, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in Swearingen 1C01. Guests are allowed (w/ RSVP). Expected dress: Business Casual.
