Waters of the US - Regulatory Overview 

Join us for a presentation covering the past 50 years of the Waters of the United States (WOTU) rules and the reasons behind our current jurisdictional uncertainty.  The presentation will discuss the beginnings of WOTUS, significant cases defining jurisdiction, how jurisdiction has changed over the years, and what we can expect moving forward.

Presented by Rachael Sulkers (HHNT, Inc.)

Ms. Sulkers is a Senior Environmental Consultant for HHNT and brings 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting field in the area of wetlands, protected species, land use permitting, and natural resources management.  She has extensive experience in complex environmental projects with significant environmental impacts.  She is proficient in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wetland delineation methods, wetland/stream impact analysis, mitigation assessments, stream and wetland restoration, threatened and endangered species review, ecological risk assessments, and Section 404 Permitting under the Clean Water Act.
