Tour of Clarks Hill Lake/Strom Thurmond Dam
Tour will begin at 1:00pm, last 2 hours, and involve six flights of stairs.

Meet at the Group One Shelter for socializing and picnic (Bring your own lunch/drinks) at 12 Noon.
Directions to the Group One Shelter:
384 Power Plant Road, Clarks Hill, SC 29821
When the road forks, stay to the left, then turn right at the bottom of the hill to get to the shelter.
The day use area is located just outside Clarks Hill, SC, west off us 221, just below the dam. There isa large brown sign at the intersection on US 221 that says "Thurmond Power Plant".

[If you look at your map and the destination is not adjacent to the dam, you do not have the right location.]
