About the ASCE South Carolina Section

The South Carolina Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) serves civil engineers across South Carolina and parts of eastern Georgia, including Richmond, Columbia, and Lincoln counties. The Section supports the Catawba, Central Savannah River Valley (CSRV), Eastern, Grand Strand, Midlands, and Upstate Branches, along with their Younger Member Groups.

Through our branches and volunteers, we work to strengthen the civil engineering profession by supporting professional development, encouraging member engagement, and promoting the value of civil engineers in our communities.

This website provides information about Section leadership, upcoming events, awards, newsletters, and resources for members. If you are interested in becoming involved with the Section, we encourage you to reach out to one of our officers.

In 2027, ASCE will celebrate 175 years of civil engineering excellence. To help recognize this milestone, the Section has compiled a list of Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Award finalists and winners located within our geographic area. You can find this list under the Resources tab.

Thank you for visiting, and please don’t hesitate to contact one of our officers if we can assist you.
