Josh Stubbs with MDOT

Mr. Josh Stubbs is MDOT's Rails Engineer based in Jackson. MDOT holds jurisdiction over every public, at-grade railroad crossing in the state. As the sole engineer at MDOT that works exclusively on railroad related matters, he is often looked at as the railroad crossing expert in the state of Mississippi. Although he thinks it's hilarious that people consider him an expert in anything. He began his career at MDOT in 2009 working in highway safety. In 2010, Josh took over the Rails Engineer position, where he has stayed since. He is a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.
