We are about to formally begin our Section’s 2024-25 season (our 112th), and our first Section meeting of this season is scheduled for October 11.  More information will be forthcoming on this meeting in our upcoming e-blasts and the October edition of THE NEWS.

We hope you're interested in serving as a Section sponsor for the coming season.  We are proud to be one of the oldest technical society sections in Philadelphia and we continue to be able to conduct successful and well-received/attended meeting programs.  As you may know,  your commitment to Section sponsorship helps provide the many ongoing and various activities and programs for our membership, the civil engineering community in our region, and we greatly appreciate your support.

Our sponsorship commitment remains as a one-time $300 payment, which brings with it this recognition for your firm’s support in several ways.

  • Your business card will be included in each edition of our newsletter, THE NEWS, for the season.  We anticipate that eight editions will be published, starting in October and continuing through May.
  • Your logo will be placed in the Sponsors page of our website, with a link directly to your company website.  This provides the ability for people to browse your firm’s information, available job openings/positions and other pertinent details.
  • You will be able to provide a profile of your firm which will be published in an edition of THE NEWS.
  • Your logo will be on a powerpoint that will be run continuously during the cocktail hour and dinner portions of our Section meetings.

Additionally, we have scheduled another Career Fair this season to showcase local firms to students/prospective employees.  We will offer participation in this to our sponsors at a discount.  This is scheduled for October 25.  More details will be forthcoming on this separately.

We are also offering a higher level of sponsorship this year, which will offer an opportunity for a firm to be featured as the exclusive sponsor of our regular e-mail blasts.  This would entail a sponsor to be highlighted in the Section blasts that will be going out for a particular month and would be limited to one month per sponsor.  This will be available for a $500 fee.  If you are interested please contact Bob Wright via return e-mail for more information on this.

If your firm wants to continue as a Section sponsor, please advise us of your interest.  The publishing deadline for the October issue of THE NEWS, the first of the season, is September 20.  Thus, any requests received after that date may be delayed until the November issue.  We will continue to use your current business card/logo unless you would like to change it at this time (please visit our website, www.asce-philly.org, in the Newsletter tab, to view the May edition of THE NEWS, which contains the card you used last year).
