DVGI September 2023 Dinner Meeting
DVGI invites you to our September 2023 Dinner Meeting at Valley Forge Casino. The meeting will feature the 2023 DVGI Project of the Year - The Laurel Rittenhouse Square presented by Bashar Qubain, Ph.D., P.E. of GeoStructures, Inc. An abstract of the lecture and speaker bio are below. Social hour will start at 5:30PM followed by dinner at 6:30PM with the presentation to follow. Please note our vendor is requiring advance notice for headcount, therefore we request your registration by Tuesday September 12, 2023. We anticipate 1 PDH will be awarded for attendance.
Bashar Qubain, Ph.D., P.E. - 2023 DVGI Project of the Year
Bashar is the founder and president of GeoStructures, Inc. He has over 30 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering for buildings, bridges and sensitive machines. His expertise and research interests are in foundation analysis and design and soil-structure interaction. Bashar served as the chief geotechnical engineer on many transportation and high-rise projects.
