CCRUN Green Infrastructure, Climate, and Cities Seminar Series + New York City Panel on Climate Change: Health and Energy Implications of Climate Change in NYC
The New York City Panel on Climate Change (NPCC) is New York City’s independent advisory body that synthesizes scientific information on climate change to inform City policy. Formed in 2009 and codified in Local Law 42 of 2012, NPCC’s mandate is to provide an authoritative and actionable source of scientific information on future climate change and its potential impacts.
NPCC4, the fourth assessment since inception, will be published in 2024. Ahead of that release, please join the NPCC4 Panel for this three-part series, introducing each major chapter of the forthcoming assessment, its key messages and implications for NYC.
