Interested in Joining our Board Next Year?

Elections for our 2026-2027 Board of Directors are just around the corner, and we would love to get you involved! The board meets once a month to handle section business and plan upcoming events, and the time commitment outside those meetings varies by role. Our board is made up of both voting and non-voting positions. Voting roles (President, President‑Elect, Past President, Treasurer, Secretary, New England Delegates, and Younger Member Chair) focus on leading the Section, managing finances and records, planning events, and representing members at regional events. Non‑voting roles (such as Membership Chair, Government Relations, Newsletter Editor, Webmaster, Practitioner Advisors, Geo‑Institute Chair, and Social Media Chair) support communication, event planning, student outreach, technical institutes, and keeping members informed and engaged.

If any of the positions above interest you, please share that with us in the interest form. Even if you’re not sure how you’d like to get involved, fill out the form and we can figure out the best fit together!

UVM-ASCE Fundraiser

See the below message from the ASCE UVM Students:

"The University of Vermont Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers is fundraising for our upcoming year and a large part of making our club run comes from your generous donations!

The American Society of Civil Engineers is an organization that fosters community and opportunities for Civil Engineers at the University of Vermont. This past year we have had numerous networking nights and guest speakers, some of our members got the attend the ASCE Regional Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, and we are currently working on constructing a 20-foot steel bridge for the AISC Steel Bridge Competition in April. These opportunities are fantastic but are not possible without funding. Your donations help ensure we can continue to provide for our chapter in the coming year!

You can use the link below to donate, please make sure to select "The American Society of Civil Engineers" when donating from the academic clubs drop down. We really appreciate your help!
