ASCE Presents: Construction of the Comcast Technology Center (1 PDH) ***Section Members Only Event***

What type of planning and engineering goes into the construction logistics for a skyscraper and how does it affect the building design? Join us to learn the answers to these questions and many more about the current tallest tower in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, the Comcast Technology Center. This building rises 1,121 feet into the sky and boasts 60 floor of occupied space. The Center opened in 2018 after 4 years of construction. The contractor, L.F. Driscoll Co., will share their experiences with the logisitics of constructing this massive construction project.
