What does it take to successfully design roadway reconstructions to alleviate drainage and provide safety improvements for both pedestrians and vehicles? This project included reconfiguring traffic along a portion of Edge Hill Road to become one-way, extensive drainage improvements, and coordination with SEPTA and 450+ residents. Pennoni's Debbie Ferraro (Project Manager) will share her experience on design and construction of this roadway improvement project that entailed extensive drainage and safety improvements. This project required close coordination with 450+ adjacent residents. This locally sponsored project by Abington Township is now currently under construction by PennDOT and expected to be completed in summer of 2021.
