The I-76-ICM Project is located along the I-76 corridor between the interchanges with the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) to the west in Montgomery County and US 1 to the east in Philadelphia. The objective for this project is to implement various measures to reduce congestion and improve safety on the Expressway, which has a horizontal alignment that closely parallels the Schuylkill River within these limits. This is the first of a few corridors planned for the implementation of such strategies in the Region.
