Please join CSCE at our monthly meeting at the Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. This meeting is co-sponsored by CSCE's Younger Members Group and the ASCE Student Chapter at CCSU. At this meeting, impacts and response to past storms will be discussed, along with strategies the CT Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing to manage the impacts of future storms. From overseeing new federal programs from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to analyzing current vulnerabilities, CTDOT is working to create a resilient transportation network that can withstand the impacts of future storms and disruptive events.

Emily Pysh, PMP, is the Supervisor of the newly created Sustainability and Resiliency Unit at the CTDOT. She has thirteen years of experience in these topics, from both the public and private sector.
