Highway Cleanup Spring 2023
Participant sign-in and safety meeting at 8:45 am in Denny’s parking lot (3711 S Geiger Blvd, Spokane, WA 99224).
- Litter pickup from 9 – 11am followed by meal at Denny’s courtesy of the Section
- Bags, safety vests, long-handled pickers, & safety equipment will be provided
- Bring gloves, water, and wear long pants & thick-soled boots or shoes
- Children of ASCE members 15 and older can participate with their parent
- Need up to 12 volunteers
- WSDOT limits to 3 vehicles on the highway shoulders, so we will carpool from Denny’s parking lot
- Need up to 2 volunteers to help with carpooling – preferably pickup trucks or vehicles that can drive off-road
Note: The event will be canceled in the event of HEAVY rain.
