It is that time of year again! Here is this year’s ASCE Scholarship prompt. The awards are $1,500 for first place and $500 for second place.

The prompt is: Describe a challenge facing your community or our nation's infrastructure that inspires you. Why is it important, and how do you hope to contribute to the solution as a future civil engineer?

The submission format has changed. The format is up to a 3 minute video answering the prompt above. The intent is for the submission to be a treated like a job interview, so please be professional. Submissions are due on December 1st, 2026 by 5:00 PM.
