The 2026 SEI-CT Structural Engineering Seminar will feature a combination of Professional Presentations and a Student Poster Competition.

Seven (7) professional presentations have been selected and will be delivered throughout the seminar.

Simultaneously, invited student posters will be displayed and evaluated by attending professionals. Each student will also give a brief verbal presentation alongside their poster. Winners will be selected based on the combined quality of their poster and presentation. Top entries will be recognized during an Awards Ceremony at the event.

How we got here: Call for Abstracts: SEI-CT 2026 Structural Engineering Seminar

ASCE/SEI Connecticut Chapter (SEI-CT) invites practitioners, researchers, educators, and industry partners to submit abstracts for presentations at the 6th Annual SEI-CT Structural Engineering Seminar.

We are seeking in-person presentations on a wide range of structural engineering topics, with an emphasis on practical solutions, real-world applicability, innovative practices, unique project challenges, and applicable research.

Format: In-person presentations only; no papers required
